 What is HVAC?

  • HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation & Airconditioning.
  • Heating is used to increase the temperature.
  • Ventilation is used to remove the smoke, odor, carbon dioxide, dust particle, etc.
  • Air Conditioning is used to maintain comfort level as per requirement.
  • HVAC systems control the temperature, humidity, airflow & air filtration.
Human Comfort:
  • Conditions at which most people are likely to feel comfortable most of the time are called human comfort and it is also called thermal comfort.
  • Temperature: Summer - 78 degree F ( 25 degree C) , Winter- 68 degree F ( 20 degree C)
  • Relative humidity: 30% to 60%
