Air conditioning:
- It is the process of maintaining thermal condition, indoor air quality, humidity and remove anti microorganism, dust particle from particular area for human comfort.
- It helps to control temperature, humidity and also quality of air.
- It can be used in both domestic and commercial environments.
Air conditioner parts:
- It is one of the key components that is needed as part of the air conditioning system. The function of the blower is to produce air movement to the space that is being conditioned.
2)Evaporator:
- It is the part of the system where the refrigerant absorbs heat. That is, it's where the cold air comes from.
- It is the part of the system where the gas is pressurized and heated even more. This important step prepares the refrigerant to give up its heat.
- As refrigerant travels from the compressor to the condenser, it spreads the heat collected from indoors to the outside. Once the refrigerant is cooled to a liquid, it circulates back inside to collect more heat in the evaporator coil.
- It is located near the condenser. It extracts heat from condenser to the surrounding.
- Without this an air conditioner can works but the dust particles can damage the components. It helps to improve the air quality.
- It controls the entire air conditioning process. By
the help of remote we can increase or decrease the temperature.
Working cycle of air conditioner:
Function of Air conditioner:
- Temperature control
- Humidity control
- Ventilation
- Air circulation
Note:
Ton of refrigeration:
- 1 TR is amount of heat to be extracted from the atmosphere for melting one metric ton of ice in 24 hours.
=3.5 kw
=211 kj/min
- Latent heat of Ice is 80 kcal/kg.
